Purple Hair Love

So I have been gone a while and in that time I got a lush blue colour going on my hair, but im going to have to circle back to that as last night I went for a colour I have wanted for a long time.

I was minding my own business on youtube when BAM Jingleheartart, a lovely youtuber posted a fab vid of what she has done with her blue/green hair. Triple barrel waver people!! Lol well I know it's not new to people, but it is to me. TBH I did buy one years and years ago and I never ever used it! Then I felt my hair was too short, then I felt it maybe wasn't in the best condition to be doing that to it, but with the colour and condition routine I have I think it's in great condition to be able to do it now and again.

Plus I recently invested in a different dye *shock* not La Riche?!

Nope, I have got my hands on a salon brand, hopefully longer lasting colour for.....well not much more than the well know directions & manic panic

Purple Haze Hair Days

So as I mentioned yesterday im no longer 'FEELING BLUE' but in a PURPLE HAZE XD
Haha yeah im one clever SOB >..>, but im really loving the purple and I think I can get so much out of it. Plus purple does tend to be one of the longer lasting colours. 

As my >Feeling Blue< post seemed to go down well i'll do a purple version now ^_^, cos I love mood boarding anyways =p

Woe is my week

Oh wow I can't believe it's been over a week since my last post! It can really get away from you (well me anyway).
I do appologise, giving you guys so much good stuff then taking it away XD
But it has been a rough week with a loss in the family.

So I will get back on it, but in the mean time REJOICE in my new hair! Ha I KNOW there is something wrong with me XD
I liked the idea of having blue hair more than actually having blue hair.

So I got this (haha at my face!!)

It was a bit too 'electric' for me, and im not a person of patience when I couldn't see it going the way i'd wanted =p

And in my mind i'd moved on to

PINKS & PURPLES

Updates! Blue Hair & Gritty Nails

So I thought i'd update you guys on how the blue hair is going. As I mentioned in my pastel hair posts i'd dyed my hair blue & purple, DARKER than i'd want it to end up to make a longer last pastel colour. And here's how it's going ^_^

Feeling blue ...... hair

So i've done a series of posts on coloured hair, how to bleach, what to use, how to maintain, ect and they seem to be popular so I will continue to do updated posts on coloured hair. It's very popular atm but i've been in love with it for years. And so with that in on blue now! Or blue green as im undecided =D

It's currently this (right) and this is as I explained in my hair post darker than you would do for pastel hair but thats because i've decided to stick with the blue (or blue like greens) for a while and I did it dark to stain the hair and in the long run make my pastel blues last longer.

However after having the blue i've been looking into other blues and theres alot of shades I really like! I think blue can be underestimated. Light pastel blues can go with every single other pastel colour, purples and pinks more so! And can excentuate greens. And darker blues can be made deeper and have different 'levels' with greens, purples or black!

So this is kinda like a colour board post, for different kinds of blues I really like but am at a loss as to where im going with mine now! Haha

My Personal hair colour of choice is the La Riche DIRECTIONS. They come in alot of super pretty colours, good sized posts (bigger than most colour dyes) and they mix with eachother really well so you can make your own shades as you go.

Haha this took a while! So sorry I did actually do it all nice and just how I wanted and LOST THE WHOLE POST! How I did that is beyond me but there we go XD

So now we have a super blonde hair and we want to make it pretty & colourful! Pastel hair is so popular right now but this is for pastel hair AND coloured hair
And NOW I've had to split this into 2 parts aswell! Lol in part A I will do the basics and how to, then in part 2 it's about the colours you can use and toners and things ^_^

Hair......Chalking?

Lol YES! Hair chalking. Welcome to a new trend in beauty: hair chalking. I’ve been hearing about this floating around places like tumblr for a while and with all my recent hair post based around pastel hair I though i'd shead a little light on this aswell. I've never actually done it myself, cos as you can tell I go whole hog with bleach and all XD, but for those who really don't want to bleach their hair, or even just want a splash of colour for the weekend this is for you maybe?

So, what exactly is hair chalking? It’s taking your hair and using either regular chalk or specifically made hair chalk to color your hair....YEP! DONE! THATS IT! Haha super easy!
