Well to be more exact it was like lilac//silver
And now we are
Yep, sorry about.....that (my face)
PLUS ipad fun hehe
So this is what I was sporting. I did it lilac (La Riche Directions Lilac) but instead of dying it more I let it fade but kept up colour with purple shampoo (Pro:Voke Touch Of Silver Brightening Shampoo)
And as you can see I did colour the bottom lilac
But the rest was upkeep with the shampoo so it was more silver // lilac
And so because i've kinda wanted to go back to pink for a while now as I wasn't really happy with it last time (to the right) it was pink I wanted to give it another go
I did like it alot, but as it went more a candy pink rather than the desired pastel pink
So I left the purple//silver as it wash I didn't bleach it out or anything, I liked that my roots were lighter from the last time I did my roots so figured I could go either way in stages (more pink or more purple). I knew the roots would take the pink better but it would 'ombre' into purple as I know my hair hangs onto purple really well
So I gave it a Pink Wash. I used 2 pots of La Riche Directions Pastel Pink to cover all of my hair and about 5-6 tablespoons of conditioner to make it go a Bit further, plus about 2 tablespoons of a Lush hair mask to give it some extra goodness. I know I normally like to use darker colours and use a little with lots of conditioner, but last time I did that with the rose red was how I got that 'candy pink' above, so I went with the straight pastel pink this time as i've always liked how thats come out (when I had it on my fringe)
THEN when I washed it out I used my silver hair shampoo, to sort of keep the purple tone it and im so happy with it now
I really love it. It's lush and pastel and you can see like pink bits, darker pink onto purple bits and then more purple/pink bits. So for a while now I will continue to PINK WASH it and use the silver hair shampoo and not dye it purple
And so I made cupcakes! Not related to my hair haaha but a work thing for my mum
Rose and glace icing & Orange blossom & chocolate icing!
I MADE 2 TINS WORTH!
