Urban Decay X OZ - Glinda's 'Magical' Palette

 Urban Decay's Glinda Palette
So as I mentioned in my last haul post I finally got my hands on the Glinda palette from Urban Decay! And it's more than I could have excepted
They didn't have the Theodora palette in stock so I couldn't actually have a lookie at it, but the Glinda one was the one i'd set my heart on anyway

The Glinda and Theodora Palettes
''Two insanely gorgeous limited-edition palettes inspired by the witches in Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful. (Because we all have a good side and a bad side.)

The new Disney film Oz The Great and Powerful tells the backstory of the wizard and the witches from L. Frank Baum’s book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Inspired by the movie’s theme of good witch vs. bad witch (and the good witch/bad witch dichotomy in all of us), we created two insanely gorgeous, limited-edition palettes loaded with beautiful, never-before-seen shades you'll want to own. We spent HOURS obsessively staring at images from the film (and not just the ones featuring its hot male lead, James Franco) to carefully craft the perfect mix of shades for these palettes.

Recreate Michelle Williams' ethereal, spellbinding look from the film with The Glinda Palette or copy Mila Kunis' captivating, edgy onscreen look with The Theodora Palette. Each one has six pans and EIGHT ALL NEW and exclusive Eyeshadows. Confused? These sets include two “duo-shades” that are split in half, with a different color on each side of the pan. Every shade features Urban Decay's Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives each shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability. Plus, you also get a Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color and a travel-size 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil.

Each palette comes in a sleek tin adorned with gorgeous Oz The Great and Powerful-inspired artwork, with "Urban Decay" and the name of the film in foil lettering. The Glinda Palette features a dreamy, celestial design awash in a sheer backdrop of pink, gold and peach, while The Theodora Palette features a moody, colorful skyscape flanked by Rorschach-like patterns. And both versions incorporate our Build Your Own Palette format for total versatility. When you finish the original shades (or whenever you get the urge to experiment), just pop them out and pop your favorite UD shadows into the cool collectible tin''
Tornado (vibrant deep purple shimmer)
Aura (2 shades in 1: iridescent white w/blue shift and iridescent white w/red shift)
Magic (pinkish purple w/golden shimmer)
Illusion (pale peach satin)
Oz (2 shades in 1: gold shimmer w/gold glitter and silver shimmer w/silver glitter)
South (warm pale gray shimmer w/silver micro-glitter).
Eye Pencil: deep eggplant.
Lip Color: Glinda (light sheer beige).

Palette & Box Pics

Box it comes in, from what I can see it's the same pattern as on the palette tin

Back of the box

Inside is the palette, the lip pencil and a 'get the look' card

Really pretty, will deffo give it a go

An Urban Decay Super-Saturated lip pencil; Glinda (light sheer beige).

It's a really nice colour, actually suits me. But it is a bit sticky which drives me mad with lip products. Will give it a chance though

Back of the palette tin

It is really pretty. The Oz palettes are both Urban Decay 'Build your own palette' tins. Urban decay offer a few different tins but these are limited edition. It's my first 'build your own' palette, it means when you run out of one you can pop it out and put in a new one

Inside; Mirror, Shadows & Pencil

An Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil; Deep eggplant

It's super nice! It's a deep purple but with like a brown undertone and a metalic shimmer

Tornado & Illusion
Really stunning! The purple is deep and super pigmented & the Illusion is a gorgeous nude with with a lovely shimmer for a little something extra
(swatches below)

Aura & Oz
Aura may just be the most amazing shadows i've ever used. I was really suprised when I swiped my finger across, just the prettiest and most feminine shades ever. Both being a white shimmer base but with one half having a blue toned lilac and the other a gorgeous pink tone.
And Oz is sooo lovely, perfect for night looks full of sparkle and shimmer
Magic & South
The magic is just........magic lol. So pretty and with the gold shimmer it's just perfect. As for the South I love it to, but see it more of a bronze than a grey, well between the two. But it is so nice and can work with all the other shades to add depth to the eye
Tornado // Magic //Illusion // South
Oz Swatch
 Aura swatch
It's so delicate I just couldn't get a decent swipe of this to show just how lush it is! Will keep trying but to really see how delicate it is you have to see in person. It's just beautiful I really love it so much
Aura & Magic
Again really not showing just how lovely the Aura is, but I really love it and so cute for a summer look with Magic around the corners. Perfect with my new pink hair

In all it is so worth every penny and more!
I was already a huge fan of urban decay already having a few of their palettes but this is just a new level of love for me
